America’s most ruthless criminals and thugs weren’t sent to jail for murder, drug trafficking, or worse. They ultimately got caught for tax evasion. Al Capone, his brother Ralph Capone, Franki Nitti, and Mickey Cohen were just some of the gangsters put away for not paying their taxes.
Was tax evasion their true crime? Of course not. But to dig deeper and pursue heavier criminal charges would most likely have implicated some high-powered and well-connected names. The FBI wouldn’t do that. They settled on Tax Evasion.
Over the last four years, the alleged activities of Hunter Biden would fit right in with the prohibition-era gangsters. Well, the crimes would. I am not so sure the actual man would. For some reason, I don’t think Al Capone would deal with looking at Hunter very much.
The “laptop from hell” has given investigators a treasure trove of information revealing Hunter’s drug abuse, questionable Russian ties, to being a guy who seemed to video and photographs everything he ever did. Did he not realize it is all called evidence or did he just think he was above the law?
Americans have listened to it for years and watched as a criminal activity after criminal activity emerged from his life. However, criminal charges have yet to be brought against the President’s son. Everyone knows why but that reason is growing old in the eyes of the public.
The growing outrage on Hunter not being indicted on something is getting louder and louder. Especially, considering there are people from January 6th still being held almost two years later.
Stories are circulating now that Hunter may face charges for failing to register as a foreign agent amid years of overseas dealings, according to the New York Post.
Bizpacreview.com reports, “The Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) is a 1938 law that requires any individual acting as “an agent, representative, employee, or servant at the order, request, or under the direction or control of a foreign principal to register with the United States government”.
If Hunter did not register as a foreign agent, he could face up to five years in jail and a $250,000 fine. Okay, after everything we have seen and heard about the President’s son, he only gets charged with something that could send him away for five years?
The people of the country are just being thrown a bone. Five years, which he won’t serve the entirety of, is simply to appease the growing cries for justice. It may also keep the spotlight off of President Biden himself. More questions are being raised suggesting he knew more than what he said.
Senator Ron Johnson of Wisconsin recently said, “I have always been suspicious that the criminal investigation of Hunter Biden is another example of the unequal application of justice, with Democrats and their elite allies getting kid glove treatment,” Johnson continued.
“My concern is that DOJ will indict Hunter on watered-down charges, and then enter into a plea agreement that includes sealing the records on the case. That would be a travesty because it would deny the American people of knowing the truth and full extent of Biden family corruption.”
As the mid-term elections approach quickly, the chances of Hunter being charged with plea deals are probably pretty good. Can the Democrats take the chance the Republicans take control of Congress and unleash fury on Hunter and his activities? No. They can’t. Charges are coming soon just not enough.
